Little Lamb Preschool is now accepting enrollment for the fall of 2009. If you are interested in any of our 3, 4 or 5 year old programs, please call the church office at 847 297-2525 or email us as dpbc@dpbible.org and the preschool director, Kathie Raines, will contact you. There will be an open house on Thursday, May 14, from 7 pm to 8pm.
Even though the construction is going on outside, we are still holding services every Sunday at 9 and 10:45 am. Please park in the parking lot in the back of the church, at the Willows Academy or on the surrounding streets. Please be courteous and take care not to block our neighbors driveways.
Come out to the Des Plaines Fourth of July Parade and see the float for our church. The parade is at 10 am, beginning at Oakton Street, going north on Center to Prairie and ending on River Road. Get there early to get a good seat!
If you are newer to the church, please stay after the second service on July 12, for lunch with Pastor Scott and a few other leaders in the church. It is a great way to learn more about the church and to meet the Pastor in a small group setting. There is no cost for the lunch, but it is appreciated it you sign up at the Welcome Center or let John Knautz know you will be attending.
Come to Metropolitan Plaza in Downtown Des Plaines on Friday, July 31, and hear our praise team play. They will be playing from 7:30 to 8:00pm. There are other groups performing before and after them. It will be a great time to support our community and our church.
On Friday, July 10 and Saturday July 11, come to the church Garage Sale. The teens will be using the proceeds to help fund their mission trip to Nogales, Mexico. If you have items to donate, please contact the church. Stop by and see what "treasures" are waiting for you.
